Point-7 starts their season in Germany by presenting a very strong race team.

The newly founded Point-7 Team Germany has benefitted from a great interest into the brand. Many talented riders have for 2010 chosen the black sails as their preferred weapon during the coming... season for both
national and international regattas.

Point 7 Team Germany will especially focus on the German national series the "(DWC)"

Team leader and absolute top favourite is the 23 year old Vincent Langer (GER-122) from Kiel, who will this year do his to claim the  DM title. Having joined the Point-7 in 2009 he finished second at the DM final
FLENS CUP in Westerland on Sylt. His goal for 2010 is clear defined: Langer
wants the German Championship title. Vincent Langer is strong in both Racing
and Slalom giving him every chance to claim the title from long term champion
Bernd Flessner (GER-16).

Langer is supported by Thade Behrends (GER-94). The regatta veteran is in the
top 10 of German windsurf of Cup for years. By switching to the fast point-7
sail, he hopes to improve his chances in the racing and Slalom and place himself
in the top 3 in the masters (+35). Also the Johannes Schade (GER-185) is sure to sit in the top 10.  After he having focussed on his studies in the 2009, he will do a strong comeback in the national racing series this year.

Florian Bandel (GER 11)who was last year cut out from racing after a bad injury, should if everything goes well, have the potential to reach top 10.

A complete newcomer to the Point-7 team is Wiebke Sradnick (GER-77). The former youth European champion in the Olympic class RS-X 2010 is committed to climb the ranks in the DWC and score some points for Point-7. Especially in racing discipline, the young Berlin lady has a good chance to show her full potential.
Her goal is to finish first in the women’s ranking in 2010. This will most likely also leave many men behind as she already finished 15th in 2009 on the men’s ranking.

Team Germany also have good opportunities in the youth class in the DWC with Krzysztof Andrzejczak (GER-5252) and Jan Moritz G-459 both aiming  toward a top 3 spot in the U20. Point-7 veteran Frank
Michalk (GER-252) from  is again on ready to push for his team in 2010
together with Thorsten Sambale.

Thomas Adolph, Chris Roos, Malte Eilers
from Aurich, Alexander Neubert und Ilja Bittrof  are all looking forward to have their place on the team
and claim the rookie title of the season.
